ACR39U-H1 Health Card Reader

The ACR39U-H1 health card reader is a device without a keyboard and screen, validated by the National Health Insurance House (CNAS). It allows vertical insertion of cards, facilitating handling and use in optimal conditions. It is intended for health cards, but can also be integrated into applications such as e-Government, access control or other similar solutions.

The ACS ACR39U-H1 model is compatible with the SIUI information system and other related platforms, having been tested and approved by CNAS. The reader accepts smart cards compliant with the ISO 7816 standard, classes A, B and C (5 V, 3 V and 1.8 V), microprocessor cards using the T=0 or T=1 protocol, as well as most memory cards. The device is equipped with a USB interface and offers a read/write speed of up to 600 Kbps. The robust construction supports up to 100,000 card insertion cycles.

The ACR39U-H1 is EMV™ Level 1 (Contact) and PBOC certified, making it suitable for applications such as e-Banking and e-Payment.

The device is easy to install, use and integrate into various work environments. It is compatible with PC/SC and CCID standards and offers extensive driver support for Windows®, Linux® and macOS® operating systems. It can also be used on mobile devices running Android™ 3.1 or later.
