The Gemalto (Thales) IDBridge CT700 is a professional smart card reader with an integrated PIN pad, widely used in Romania for secure access to digital services. The device is compatible with the National Health Insurance Card (used within the SIUI, SIPE, and CEAS systems) as well as with the new Electronic Identity Card (eID).

Thanks to its Class 2 architecture, the PIN code is entered directly on the reader's keypad rather than through the computer keyboard, helping to reduce the risk of data interception by keylogging malware. Secure PIN Entry and Firewall Features
