The ACR39 health card reader is a device without a keyboard and screen, authorized by CNAS (National Health Insurance House), which allows reading and writing data from health cards. The reader/writer connects to the computer's USB port, after which the card is inserted. To access the data on the card, the PIN code is entered from the computer keyboard.

The ACS/ACR39 reader/writer is compatible with both memory chip cards and processor cards (CPU Smart Cards).

This card reader/writer is a plug-and-play device, with a modern and easy-to-use design, based on the USB 2.0 full-speed communication interface. The reader complies with CCID (Chip Card Interface Device) specifications and is compatible with ISO 7816 Class A, B and C cards.
