uTrust 2700 R Contact Smart Card Reader

The Identiv uTrust 2700 R is a USB-connected contact smart card reader suitable for a wide range of applications requiring security. The device is compliant with major industry standards, including ISO/IEC 7816, USB CCID, PC/SC and Microsoft WHQL, and works with most contact smart cards and PC operating systems.
Full support and compliance with EMV 2008 and GSA FIPS 201 allow for use in applications requiring a high level of security and data protection.

The reader combines a compact and ergonomic design with a data transmission rate of up to 600 kbps, including support for TA1=97, reducing transaction times. Identiv SmartOS™ specific features ensure full compatibility with all major contact smart card types.

uTrust 2700 R is suitable for applications such as network authentication, Windows authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO), banking applications and cashless payments, as well as for scenarios requiring a high level of security in public administration.
